Secret trail Hunt, Lindfield

We will warm up on a lovely meandering trail from Lindfield Oval down to a wider management trail where we set a fast pace. Today we will cross Barrie Creek and take a wandering trail before climbing to Barrie St.
If the weather is fair, we will return to the creek by a foot pad so that we really get the flavour of the casuarina forest through which we are walking. The views from near the water are very pretty, so keep your camera ready. I recommend you wear long pants for this one.

Killarney Hills, Killarney

We are doing the Iconic Killarney Hills. I hope you can make it.
We will meet on Cook Street in Forestville. This is a long hike covering mountain bike tracks, and incorporating lots of steps and undulations.
We get a great break on the water at the halfway mark; this hike is all within the Garigal National Park. Poles are recommended.
The first part of this hike is just under 10KM, but there is always an extension if you are tempted.

Middle Cove Mangroves, Middle Cove

Today's HIKEFit program explores parts of Castle Cove… Although it feels like a flat walk, there are some good ups and downs. You can complete 8 km or the full 11 km and get around 400m in elevation.
We will start at Harold Reid reseve and heads towards Scotts Creek. After passing the creek, we find a management for about 500 metres. Then we are back into the bush heading to FigTree Cove via the North Arm walking track.
Don't forget to stop and take in the spectacular water views. This is an out and back track. After we return to the cars, if it’s not too hot, there's always a loop of Harold Reid reserve for that 3 km.

HIKEFit will meet at the car park of Acron Oval. We will walk down a steep management trail meandering our way through the National park. After a while we will see the cascades, then we will traverse up and down through different trails, to keep our heart rate and legs working.
Today's hike is testing you on hills, and steep declines. Poles are highly recommended.

HIKEFit will meet at the end of Bobbin Head Road, and walk into the National Park. If you have a national park pass please meet us inside by the Sphinx.
This is a 9 km hike, with plenty of hills, we traverse management trails, bush tracks and steps. There are plenty of inclines and declines to give you a big fitness workout. I call this a LEVEL 7 hike. This has plenty of steep climbs, poles are encouraged. Allow around 3 hours for the Hike and stretching.

Ormonde Steps, Roseville

Today is a nice east FAST walk around the waters of Roseville, starting in a dead end street, we find our first set of steps. We are going to head out to the Roseville Marina, depending upon our group, we may go all the way (adding another 3KM on) or we just stop under the bridge and turn around.
As we head past our entry point, we continue on this magical trail till we find what we call Wellington Steps, yes, 250 steps all the way up to Wellington Road. After looking out over the view of where we have just walked we will head back to the cars via the same path.

We are doing the full loop of the Lane Cove River. In total 11.5KM, although, I think this is a flat hike, Strava and hikers have told it has plenty of undulation; so don't take this as an easy walk, when we hike it will challenge you.

HIKEFit will meet at the end of Blaxland Road, Killara. Today's hike is all about Distance , in total 13.5KM. If you are interested in a long Hike, today's program is just for you.
This is a 13 KM hike, and I'm told it is rather hilly, although there are no real hills !!! In fact, we have an elevation gain of 600m.
We will traverse several creeks, so waterproof shoes are essential. Poles will also help you manage your endurance. We will walk from Killara to North Epping and back, all in the Lane Cove National park.
Allow just over 3 hours for the Hike and stretching.

HIKEFit will meet at the end of Boronia Ave where we join the Great North Walk and walk towards the Lane Cove / Epping Bridge at the M2. The scenery on the walk is fantastic, so enjoy :)

Most of this hike is flat, but I am sure your hike coach can find some challenges for you.
