Berowra to Cowan, Berowra Waters
Saturday 1st November 6:45am
HIKEFit Coach: Sonia
HIKEFit will meet at Berowra Waters Ferry.
As soon as we leave the ferry we are up up up, until we get to the view as in the photo. After that it's a series of up and down till Cowan Station. At that point we hop on the train and head back to Berowra where we need to take another street walk to our cars. (We can organise Car pooling!)
Are you up to it? It's one of our hardest walks on the program. We will gain about 600m in climbing elevation. If you are in training for Nepal or The Alps, this will be an excellent training hike.
There are several options for different starting points / exit points . Please talk to me about these as we would need to organise special carpooling
If you have not hiked with us before, please make contact with Sonia so we can discuss your hiking background.

Kuringgai Wildflower Garden, St Ives
16th November 7am
Hike Coach : Sonia
HIKEFit will meet around 19 Kitchener St St Ives; and we will walk around the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Gardens.
The beauty of this hike is you hike following different paths with various difficulties and you can stop at any point if you've had enough hills :) For those who want that little extra, I can add plenty of tough hills. I will choose the path difficulty depending upon who signs up :)
Don’t be fooled by the surroundings as it is not a TYPICAL Garden. We are going to do plenty of different loops in this hike. Your hikes might be 5 km, 7 km or even 9 km ... depending on when you feel like you've had enough, allow 2.5hours for the Hike and stretching.

Tuesday 25th November 7:15 am

Today we descend into Garigal National Park and follow Carrol Creek until we join the Governor Phillip Track. We then tread through lovely open forest on a gently undulating trail until we reach our mountain.
Our challenges today are to watch our feet along the river crossings and to ascend the steep hills that bookend today’s walk. This piece of bush land is my personal favourite as I have seen turtles, wallabies, various birds including a powerful owl while doing this walk.
